Klas Ernflo’s Wine Stopper ‘Buddy’

In his Casavells home and studio, Swedish artist Klas Ernflo lets us in on his whimsical process where graphic design, illustration, and fine art converge to bring a playful abstractness and distinct narrative to everyday objects. Immersed in a mythology of size, colour, and technique, the Wine Stopper ‘Buddies’ first came to life as painted artworks, before finding their way into the world as functional sculptures.
