ApartamentoTV Milan Design Week 2026

As artists and designers were putting the finishing touches on their Milan Design Week shows, they gave us behind-the-scenes tours for Sneak Peek. Our guests for this iteration of Sneak Peek included: Muller Van Severen, Dan Thawley and Barnaba Fornasetti, David Alhadeff, Faye Toogood, Guglielmo Giagnotti and Patrizio Gola of studioutte, Benoit Astier de Villatte, Ivan Pericoli, and John Derian, Bethan Laura Wood, Claudia Campone and Saša Štucin and Nicholas Gardner of Soft Baroque.  

For ApartamentoTaxi!, we gave a lift to four creatives from the Apartamento community as they moved around Milan, bringing them everywhere from pancake breakfast spots to the pharmacy for lip balm. Guests Nifemi Marcus-Bello, Sabine Marcelis, Dozie Kanu, Minjae Kim, and Paul Cournet danced along to Italian tunes pouring out of the taxi’s radio and chatted with our creative director Robbie Whitehead about their impressions of the city, the exhibitions during the week, and their creative practices. 

For Pillow Talk, we asked members of the Apartamento community to grab a seat on the Muller Van Severen Pillow Sofa for some pillow talk (of the more innocent variety)—reflecting on what rest, relaxation, and comfort means to them. Filming took place in the Apartamento Bookshop, directly above the Muller Van Severen exhibition Silhouettes: Celebrating 15 Years. 

To wrap up a jam-packed Milan Design Week, we threw a party with Milan-based communication, press, and PR agency P:S at the home of its founder and creative director, Michela Pelizzari. Along with marking the close of the week, this party saw the launch of Closet Karaoke, a project that invites members of our community to pick their all-time favourite tunes, sing their hearts out, and, inevitably, get their groove on.
