Here, amidst the glow of his community, longtime Apartamento collaborator Waylon Bone, captures Frederik as passion folds gently into contemplation—a rare window into the balance between tranquility and creativity. 

Today, as we turn the page to the second chapter in Frederik’s story, we celebrate the partnership and shared passion for community that binds us. We invite you to catch a glimpse of Frederik’s life through Waylon’s cinematic lens—a visual stroll through the tenderness and connection that form the ever-evolving muse behind it all. 

A year ago, we embarked on a culinary voyage with Frederik, guided by the pages of Atelier September: A Place for Daytime Cooking—the first cookbook dedicated to his renowned Danish restaurant, published in December 2023. A tribute to daytime rituals and the textures of life through Frederik’s eyes, it took us across cities, from Paris to London, Copenhagen to New York, and all the way to Seoul, marked by signed cookbooks, tables set, and friendships forged. Among those friendships was one with Waylon Bone, who joined Frederik in New York to chronicle the days leading up to the book’s launch. That first chapter, Chapter 1: New York City, unfolded into a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of Atelier September and a portrait of a chef in the thick of creation. That was only the beginning.
